Luis Rubiales Womens Spain Team Scandal


Luis Rubiales is currently in court after he "sexually assaulted" Spanish player Jenni Hermoso at the world cup trophy lift after Spain won it back in the 20th August of this year. Luis was caught on camera passionately kissing the Spanish player on the lips as he was proud for his country finally winning the world cup. He says it was a consensual kiss but Jenni disagrees with him and has took legal action. Luis has now resigned from the role of Chief in Spain's football. He is now on his way to the Madrid court as of today (15th September). 

The very controversial moment happened at Spain's trophy lift when Luis decided to wrap his hands around Jenni's head a kiss her on the lips. As seen in the video the kiss lasted a short time and both smiled afterwards and carried on with the ceremony. Even in the changing rooms and bus back all the Spain teammates were laughing as they shared memes with Jenni who also found it funny, they started a chant shouting "kiss" as Luis walked into the room but it seemed all fun and games. Now Jenni has filed a sexual assualt charge on him and was in court recently over the scandal that has shocked the world. It became even more of an issue when Jenni's teammates said they would refuse to play for the team aswell as some couching staff if Luis did not step down from his role as football chief. Despite the leaked footage of her laughing and cracking jokes with him it seems the internet decided it was completely wrong og him to do what he did, most likely impacting Jenni's view of the incident, making her change her mind and standing up for herself.

Luis' spoke out on his mother actions recently as it turns out she went on a hunger strike. Supposedly she locked herself inside of a church as did not eat for two days as she would only come out if "justice" was served for her son, sticking up for her son not for the player. She came out after the two days and was admitted to hspital where she was said to be starved and dehydrated along with swollen due to the heat. She left hospital just a day later after recovering well but Luis is still worried about her.

Gig Review - Little Simz

Little Simz has come a long way from being an opener act for Schoolboy Q on his tour many years ago. She has slowly worked her way up the ladder from her first release in 2010 to her most recent tour for her critically acclaimed album No Thank You. The album in question received a nomination for the British Album Of The Year, a Libera Award for best hip-hop album, a Mercury Prize  and finally a Best Album at the MOBO Awards. This tour took place in a sold out O2 Arena in Glasgow on the 7th November 2023. The opening acts were perfectly chosen giving the crowd a little teaser for what the vibe of the concert would turn out to be.
